Long Beach & Burnett Apartments Groundbreaking Ceremony

The official ground-breaking ceremony to launch the construction of the Long Beach & Burnett Apartments took place on Tuesday, July 14, 2009.
The list of speakers consisted of Dee Andrews, Councilman, Council District 6 City of Long Beach; Reginald Harrison, Deputy City Manager; Patrick Brown Chair of The Long Beach Housing Development Company; Graham Espley-Jones, President of Western Community Housing; and Christopher Maffris, Vice President of Meta Housing Corporation.
City of Long Beach, The Long Beach Housing Development Company, Bank of America, Western Community Housing, Inc., California Community Reinvestment Corporation and Meta Housing Corporation all came together and contributed to the success of the project.
Long Beach & Burnett Apartments consists of 4 stories with 46 units, 1 community room, parking garage over sub-subterranean parking including guest parking.
