This 4 story project in the City of Los Angeles consists of two and three bedrooms of affordable housing apartments for low income families.  Primus was the construction manager working with the owner and the Los Angeles Housing Department to deliver this project on time and under budget.  As with most affordable housing projects, fiscal responsibility while maintaining the highest quality is of upmost importance. To this end, Primus implemented a change order control process to review the contents of the requests for change that included assembling information concerning the request, determining the cause of the request, verifying that the costs being proposed were fair market prices and rates, and where analysis revealed that the request was valid Primus prepared a report to Client for approval.  This process helped yield an overall change order percentage of 3%.
